I’m hopefully back to blogging consistently (I still posted some of my reviews on goodreads or youtube but I’ve been very bad at blogging). January was a horrid reading month due to final exams but hopefully the rest of the year won’t be so bad

Sorry for the super late post! I’ve been super busy and exhausted. August was a pretty good reading month. Lots of books I really enjoyed again, surprisingly lots of middle grade and YA that I absolutely loved, that hasn’t been happening much lately. I read 13 books in total (though 2 were audiobooks) and out of those 6 were library books (I finally decided to join my local library after living here for 2 years and not doing it, really glad I did!). I participated in 3 different reading challenges this month: the booktubeathon (you can check out my instagram and youtube accounts to see more), the classicsathon (for which I read Jane Eyre) and the big book weekender (for which I read A Little Life). As usual reviews are sorted in order of preference from most liked to least. A few of the reviews aren’t very good because I took a really long time to write them so my opinion and memory of them was already fading away, sorry about that.

July was a surprisingly good reading month, lots of 5 star reads and lots of books read (I didn’t realise how many until I started the long task of writing reviews)! As usual reviews are ranked from best to worst. I would write more of an intro but I’m busy with the booktubeathon and work and know that if I try I just won’t post it any time soon, sorry!

June was an OK reading month. I had a huge TBR list for pride month and I barely covered the start of it, but I did really enjoy most of what I read so that’s a big plus. Hopefully I’ll get to read more in the coming months but as of now it’s looking unlikely.

It’s super late, I know, but life has been hectic due to final exams, moving and starting a new job immediately after. I’m excluding my reviews for the books on the women’s prize shortlist since I already made a post reviewing those, but here’s the rest of the books I read in May. In total May was an exceptionally good reading month considering how busy I was, I read a total of 13 books which I think is the most I’ve read in a month this whole year, plus, 3 of them are definitely going on my favourite books of all time list!
